    If you are traveling by car, start from Kilinochchi town and head east on the A9 highway. Continue on the A9 for about 35 kilometers until you reach the junction for Point Pedro. Turn left onto the A14 road and continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers. Once in Point Pedro, follow the signs towards Mill Lane. The entrance to Sakkotai Cape will be on your left. There is no entry fee, but ensure your vehicle is parked in a designated area.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    To reach Sakkotai Cape by public transportation, take a bus from Kilinochchi town to Point Pedro. Buses leave regularly from the Kilinochchi bus station, and the fare is usually around 50 LKR. The journey will take about an hour. Once you arrive in Point Pedro, you can either walk or take a tuk-tuk to Mill Lane. The tuk-tuk fare is approximately 200 LKR. Upon reaching Mill Lane, follow the signs to Sakkotai Cape.

    If you prefer a more direct route after arriving in Point Pedro, you can hire a tuk-tuk. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting the trip; it should be around 200 LKR from the bus station to Sakkotai Cape. The tuk-tuk will take you straight to the entrance.
