If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Kitulgala. Head southeast on the A7 road towards Avissawella. Continue for about 3 kilometers until you see a sign for Budumaloka Waterfall. Turn onto the narrow road leading to the waterfall. Follow the signs for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the parking area near the waterfall. Be aware that the road may be bumpy in certain sections.
