Getting There

  • Car

    From Kitulgala town center, head south on the A7 road towards Ratnapura. After approximately 3 kilometers, you will see a sign for Bulugoda Oya on your left. Turn onto the road leading to Bulugoda Oya and follow it for about 1 kilometer until you reach the parking area near the river.

  • Public Transportation

    Take a local bus from Kitulgala to Ratnapura, which will run frequently throughout the day. After about 10 minutes, request to be dropped off at the Bulugoda Oya stop. From there, you may need to walk approximately 500 meters down a smaller path leading to the river. Be sure to ask the bus driver or locals for directions if unsure.
