If you are traveling by car, start from Kandy and head towards Matale via the A9 highway. Once you reach Matale, follow the signs to the Knuckles Mountain Range. From Matale, take the B10 road towards Hunnasgiriya. Continue on this road for approximately 15 km until you see signs for Hunnasgiriya Waterfall. There is a parking area available near the waterfall entrance. Note that the road can be narrow and winding, so drive carefully.

For those using public transport, take a bus from Kandy to Matale. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 1-1.5 hours. Once in Matale, you can take a three-wheeler (tuk-tuk) to Hunnasgiriya. The fare for the tuk-tuk should be around 1,000 to 1,500 LKR, depending on your bargaining skills. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting your journey. The tuk-tuk will take you directly to the waterfall, which is about 15 km away from Matale.
