    From Matale town, head east on the A9 road towards Kandy. Continue for about 12 kilometers until you reach the Katugastota roundabout. Take the exit onto the Katugastota - Madawala - Bambarella Road (B308) at the roundabout. Follow this road for approximately 9 kilometers. You will begin to see signs for Huluganga Ella Waterfall. The waterfall is located off the main road, and you may need to park nearby and walk a short distance to reach the waterfall itself.

    From Matale bus stand, take a bus heading to Kandy and ask the driver to drop you off at the Katugastota junction. This is about a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive at Katugastota, you can catch a local bus heading towards Madawala. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Huluganga stop.
