Car
If you are driving from Matale Town, head southeast on the A9 road toward Kandy. After approximately 17 km, take a left turn onto the Medadumbara road. Continue straight for about 8 km, and you will reach the Knuckles Forest Reserve entrance located at FQ2Q+358, Medadumbara poddalgoda heeloya Rod, Gomara. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for the mountainous terrain.

Public Transportation
From Matale Town, take a bus heading to Kandy. After around 17 km, get off at the Medadumbara junction. From there, you can hire a tuk-tuk or share a taxi to the Knuckles Forest Reserve entrance. The tuk-tuk ride should cost around 500 LKR, and the journey will take approximately 20 minutes.
