Car
If you are driving, start from Matara town center and head south on the Galle-Matara main road (A2) for about 2 kilometers. Look for the turn onto Beach Rd, which is well marked. After turning onto Beach Rd, continue for approximately 1 kilometer. Polhena View Point will be on your left at 93 Beach Rd. There is usually street parking available nearby.
Public Transportation - Bus
From Matara, you can take a local bus heading towards Polhena. Buses are frequent and cost around 30 LKR. Ask the bus conductor to notify you when you reach Polhena. The stop is located near the beach, and from there, it is a short walk along Beach Rd for about 500 meters to reach Polhena View Point, located at 93 Beach Rd.
Tuk Tuk
For a more direct route, you can hire a tuk-tuk from any point in Matara. Negotiate a fare (typically around 300-500 LKR depending on your starting point). The tuk-tuk driver will take you directly to Polhena View Point at 93 Beach Rd. Ensure you agree on the fare before starting your journey.
