If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Matara town. Head east on the Matara-Badulla Main Road (A2) for about 3 km. Take a left onto the Gombaddala Road (also known as Gombaddala Watta) and continue straight for approximately 5 km. You will see signs pointing towards Wiharamaldeniya waterfall. The waterfall is located near the end of Gombaddala Road. There is parking available near the waterfall.

To reach Wiharamaldeniya waterfall by public transport, take a bus from Matara town heading towards Badulla. Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at Gombaddala.
