Car
If you are driving to Matara Rest House, start from the center of Matara city. Head southwest on Matara - Galle Main Road (A2). Continue for about 2.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout near the beach. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto Fort Street. Continue straight for approximately 1 kilometer, and you will find Matara Rest House on your right at Buddhika P. Senevirathne Street. Parking is available near the premises.
Public Transportation
To reach Matara Rest House using public transport, you can catch a bus from any location within Matara District. Look for buses heading toward Matara Main Bus Station. Once you arrive at the station, exit and head towards the nearby Fort area. You can either walk (approximately 10-15 minutes) or take a tuk-tuk for around 200 LKR to Matara Rest House, which is located at Buddhika P. Senevirathne Street.
Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a tuk-tuk from your location in Matara District. Just inform the driver you want to go to Matara Rest House at Buddhika P. Senevirathne. The fare should be around 200-300 LKR depending on your starting point. This is a convenient option for those unfamiliar with the area.
