If you are driving, start from Matara town center and head south on the Matara - Colombo Main Road (A2). After approximately 2 kilometers, take a left onto Weherahena Road. Continue on Weherahena Road for about 1 kilometer, and you will find Weherahena Poorwarama Rajamaha Viharaya on your left. There is a parking area available near the temple.

From the Matara Bus Station, take a bus heading towards Weherahena or Dikwella. The bus fare is usually around 30-50 LKR.
