Walking
Start at the Matara Bus Station, which is located at 5.9515° N, 80.5402° E. Exit the station and head east on Station Road until you reach the main road, which is Galle Road (A2). Continue straight until you reach the Polhena Junction, where you will see signs for Polhena Beach. Turn right onto Polhena Beach Road. Follow this road for about 1 km, and you will see the Polhena View Point on your right at 93 Beach Rd, Matara. The view point is known for its stunning ocean views and is a perfect spot for photos.

Tuk-Tuk
From any location in Matara, you can hire a tuk-tuk to Polhena View Point. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Polhena Beach', and they will know the way. The fare should be around 200-300 LKR, depending on your starting point. The driver will drop you off right at the view point located at 93 Beach Rd, Matara. Enjoy the scenic ride through the local streets!

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Matara. Start your journey from the Matara Bus Station and head towards Galle Road (A2). Once on Galle Road, cycle south towards Polhena Junction. At the junction, turn right onto Polhena Beach Road. Continue cycling for about 1 km until you reach 93 Beach Rd, where you will find the Polhena View Point. The ride is relatively flat and offers beautiful views along the way.
