Tuk-Tuk
From the center of Matara, head to the main road (Galle Road). You can find tuk-tuks waiting near the Matara Bus Station. Inform the driver that you want to go to Secret Beach in Mirissa. The journey takes about 30 minutes, and the driver will take you directly to the beach entrance.

Walk to the Matara Bus Station and look for buses heading to Mirissa. The buses are frequent, so you shouldn’t have to wait long. Get on the bus and remain seated until you reach Mirissa, which is approximately a 20 to 30-minute ride. After you get off the bus, follow the signs pointing towards the beach, and it’s a short walk from there.

If you are up for a longer walk and are already in Mirissa, from the main road, head towards the beach area. Walk along the coastal road until you see signs for Secret Beach. It’s about a 15 to 20-minute walk from the Mirissa beach area. Follow the path that leads through some local shops and restaurants until you reach the beach.
