Getting There

  • Tuk-Tuk

    From Matara, find a tuk-tuk stand or hail a tuk-tuk on the street. Inform the driver you want to go to Talalla Beach. The journey should take approximately 20-30 minutes. The driver will take you along the Matara-Talalla Road (A2) towards the beach. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Talalla Beach as you approach. The tuk-tuk can drop you off at the entrance to the beach area.

    Head to the Matara Bus Station, which is located near the city center. Look for buses heading towards Talalla or Dikwella. Make sure to ask the bus conductor to drop you off at Talalla Beach.
