Walking
Start from central Matara, near the Matara Bus Station. Head southwest on the A2 road (Galle Road) towards the beach. Continue walking for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with the B206 road. Take a left turn onto B206 and walk for approximately 500 meters. You will see a small pathway leading off to the right - this is the entry to Thelligavila Peella. Follow this path, which will lead you directly to the site.
Tuk-Tuk
From your location in Matara, find a nearby tuk-tuk stand or flag down a tuk-tuk. Inform the driver you want to go to Thelligavila Peella, located on the B206 road. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the site. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
Bicycle
If you choose to rent a bicycle, start from the Matara Bus Station and ride west along the A2 road (Galle Road). Continue for approximately 1 km until you reach the B206 road. Turn left onto B206 and ride for about 500 meters. Look for a small path on your right leading to Thelligavila Peella. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
