From anywhere in Matara, you can easily catch a tuk-tuk to Mirissa. Just tell the driver 'Whale Watching Mirissa' or show them the address 'A2, Mirissa 81740'. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 500-700 LKR.
Bus
Head to the Matara Bus Station, which is centrally located. Look for a bus heading to Mirissa. The buses are frequent and should depart every 15-30 minutes. The fare is around 50 LKR. Once you arrive in Mirissa, you can walk towards the beach area, and you will find Whale Watching Mirissa located along the main road (A2). It’s about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
