Getting There

Walking
If you're starting from the Matara Railway Station, exit the station and head south on the Station Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Galle Road (A2). Turn left onto Galle Road and walk along the main road for about 500 meters. You will come to a junction at the Matara Clock Tower. From there, turn right onto Lighthouse Street. Walk along Lighthouse Street for about 300 meters, and you will find the YMBA Building on your left side.

Tuk-Tuk
If you're near the Matara Bus Station, you can easily find a tuk-tuk. Just tell the driver to take you to the YMBA Building on Lighthouse Street. It should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Alternatively, you can walk out of the bus station, find the main road (Galle Road), and wave down a tuk-tuk. Just provide the same destination.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Start from the Matara Beach area and head towards the main road (Galle Road). Once you reach Galle Road, turn left and cycle for about 1 kilometer until you reach the Matara Clock Tower. From the Clock Tower, take a right onto Lighthouse Street and continue cycling for about 300 meters until you reach the YMBA Building.
