Getting There

  • Tuk-Tuk

    From any point in Mirissa, head to the main road (A2) which runs along the coast. You can easily find a tuk-tuk by asking locals or waiting at a designated tuk-tuk stand. Tell the driver you want to go to Talalla Beach. The journey typically takes about 30 minutes. You will pass through the scenic countryside and coastal roads. The driver will know the way, but make sure to confirm Talalla Beach as your destination.

  • Public Bus

    Walk to the main bus station in Mirissa, which is located near the beach area. Look for a bus heading towards Matara and ask the conductor to drop you off at Talalla. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes and costs very little (around 50 LKR). Once you reach Talalla, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Talalla Beach, which is a short walk from the main road.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Mirissa. Head towards the A2 road and ride south for about 6 kilometers.
