Walking
From the center of Mirissa, head west towards the coast. Walk along the beach road (Mirissa Beach Road) for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Weligama By Pass Road. Continue straight onto Weligama By Pass Road. After about 500 meters, you will see Weligama Beach on your left. The entrance is marked, and you can enjoy the beautiful beach once you arrive.
Tuk-Tuk
Find a nearby tuk-tuk stand or flag down a tuk-tuk from the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Weligama Beach. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you along the coast, and you will arrive at Weligama Beach where you can enjoy the beach and all its amenities.
Public Bus
Head to the Mirissa bus stop located near the main road. Look for a bus heading towards Weligama. The fare is very inexpensive. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the Weligama stop, which is near the beach. From the bus stop, walk a short distance towards the coast, and you will see Weligama Beach ahead.
