Car
If you are traveling by car, set your GPS to the following coordinates: 6.9114792 latitude and 81.3939161 longitude, or enter 'W96V+HHV, Monaragala' into your navigation system. From Moneragala town, head southwest on the A24 road. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to the Galabedda Archaeological Site. There is limited parking available near the site.
Public Transportation
To reach Galabedda Archaeological Site using public transportation, first take a local bus from Moneragala town heading towards Badulla. The fare is approximately 50 LKR. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Galabedda. From there, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer to the site. Be sure to confirm the bus schedule as services may vary throughout the day.
Walking
If you are already near Moneragala and prefer to walk, head towards the A24 road. Walk approximately 5 kilometers southwest until you see the signs for Galabedda. The path may not always be paved, so wear comfortable shoes and be mindful of local traffic.
