Car
If you are driving from Moneragala town, head north on the A4 road towards Badulla. Continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Colombo - Batticaloa Highway (A5). Take a left onto the A5 road and drive for approximately 25 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Upper Diyaluma Waterfall. You will arrive at the parking area near the waterfall after a short drive along the access road.
Public Transportation
To reach Upper Diyaluma Waterfall by public transport from Moneragala, first, take a bus from Moneragala Bus Station towards Badulla. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Badulla, transfer to a bus heading towards Colombo on the A5 highway. Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at Upper Diyaluma Waterfall. The waterfall is approximately 5 kilometers from the main highway, so you may need to walk a bit or arrange a tuk-tuk from the bus stop to the waterfall entrance.
