If you are in the center of Negombo, find a tuk-tuk stand or simply flag one down. Tell the driver you want to go to Pilikuttuwa Raja Maha Viharaya in Gampaha. The ride will take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. As you approach Gampaha, you will see signs for the temple. The driver can drop you off at the entrance.

From Negombo, head to the main bus station located on Colombo Road. Look for a bus bound for Gampaha; these buses are frequent. Board the bus and enjoy the local scenery. Once you reach Gampaha, disembark at the Gampaha bus station. From there, you can take a tuk-tuk or walk approximately 1 kilometer towards the temple. Follow the main road and keep an eye out for signs directing you to Pilikuttuwa Raja Maha Viharaya.

If you are near the Gampaha bus station after taking the bus from Negombo, you can walk to the temple. Head southeast on the main road from the bus station, following the signs for Pilikuttuwa Raja Maha Viharaya. The walk is around 15-20 minutes. As you approach, you will see the temple on your left side.
