Walking

If you are in the central area of Negombo, start by heading towards the beach road. Walk along the beach promenade until you reach the intersection with Main Street (also known as Colombo Road). From here, continue straight until you reach the junction to the Unnamed Road. Follow the signs for the local ferry service to Winson Island. The ferry station is around a 15-minute walk from the beach. Look for a small ticket booth where you can purchase your ticket for the ferry to Winson Island.

Public Transport (Bus)

From your location in Negombo, locate the nearest bus stop. Take a bus heading towards the Negombo Fish Market. Inform the bus conductor that you want to get off at the stop for the ferry to Winson Island. Once you disembark, walk towards the Unnamed Road, where you will find the ferry station. The ferry ride will take you directly to Winson Island.

Bicycle Rental

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Negombo. Start your ride towards the beach road and continue along the coastline until you reach the intersection with Main Street.
