If you're driving from Nuwara Eliya town, head out of the town towards the Kandy Road (A5). After approximately 1.5 km, look for a turnoff to the left onto Hill Road (this may not be well signposted). Continue on Hill Road for about 1 km until you reach the Single Tree Hill View Point, located at coordinates 6.9555608, 80.7660385. There is limited parking available near the viewpoint. Be cautious as the road can be narrow and winding.

Public Transportation

To reach Single Tree Hill View Point using public transportation, start at the Nuwara Eliya bus station. Take a local bus heading towards Kandy and ask the driver to drop you off at the Hill Road junction. The bus ride will cost around 30-50 LKR depending on the bus service. Once you alight at the junction, you will need to walk approximately 1 km uphill on Hill Road to reach the viewpoint. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the walk can be steep.
