If you're driving, head towards Gal Vihara Road. From the Polonnaruwa town center, take the A11 road and follow the signs for Gal Vihara. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction at the entrance of the Gal Vihara site. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing towards Pabalu Vehera. Turn right at the junction and proceed for about 1 kilometer; Pabalu Vehera will be on your left. There is parking available nearby.

To reach Pabalu Vehera by public transport, locate the nearest bus stop in Polonnaruwa. Board a bus heading towards Gal Vihara. The bus ride will take about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Gal Vihara; they are usually familiar with the landmark. Once you get off, walk towards Gal Vihara Road and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. Pabalu Vehera will be on your left side.
