If you are in the center of Polonnaruwa, start at the Polonnaruwa Ancient City entrance. From here, walk south towards the main road. After about 10 minutes, you will reach a junction with a large sign for the Polonnaruwa Archaeological Museum on your left. Continue straight for another 5 minutes until you see the sign for Deepa Uyana on your right. Follow the path that leads into the park area.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Polonnaruwa. Start from the Polonnaruwa Ancient City entrance and head south on the main road. After approximately 1 kilometer, take a right turn at the junction with the Polonnaruwa Archaeological Museum on your left. Continue for another 500 meters, and you will see Deepa Uyana on your right. The park is easily accessible by bike, and you can park your bicycle at the entrance.
