Car
From any location in Puttalam District, head towards the A6 highway. Follow the signs for Kandy, which is approximately 110 km away. The drive will take around 2.5 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Once you reach Kandy, follow the road signs leading to 'Rajapihilla Mawatha'. You will eventually arrive at the Kandy View Point located at 7JQQ+HWM. There is limited parking available near the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
Start from your location in Puttalam District and make your way to the nearest bus station. Board a bus heading to Kandy; the journey will typically take 3 to 4 hours and costs around LKR 200-400. Upon arriving in Kandy, you can either take a tuk-tuk or walk to Rajapihilla Mawatha, where Kandy View Point is located. The walk is approximately 1 km from the bus station, and tuk-tuk rides generally cost around LKR 150-300.
