If you're driving, head towards Kandy city center. From the Kandy Railway Station, take Deva Veediya Road. Follow the road for approximately 1 kilometer. The Prince of Wales Fountain will be on your left, just outside the Sri Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Tooth Relic). There is limited parking available near the temple, so plan accordingly.

To reach the Prince of Wales Fountain via public transport, take a bus heading towards Kandy city center. Alight at the 'Kandy City Center' stop. From there, it is a short walk (approximately 500 meters) to Deva Veediya. Head south on Deva Veediya Road, and you will see the fountain on your left, right next to the Sri Dalada Maligawa. Bus fares typically range from 20 to 50 LKR depending on your starting point.

For a more comfortable and direct route, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Kandy. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Prince of Wales Fountain near the Temple of the Tooth.' The fare from central Kandy should be around 200 to 500 LKR depending on the distance. The driver will drop you off right at the fountain.
