Car
From the center of Ratnapura, head south on Main Street (A4 road) towards the town of Pelmadulla. After approximately 6 kilometers, turn left onto the Panagama Road (B4 road). Continue for about 8 kilometers, and you will reach a small sign indicating 'Hirigalketiya Waterfall' on your left. Park your vehicle at the designated parking area nearby. The waterfall is a short 10-15 minute walk from the parking, following a well-marked path.

Public Transportation (Bus)
Start at the Ratnapura bus stand and take a bus heading towards Pelmadulla. Make sure to tell the driver you want to go to Hirigalketiya. The bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to Panagama Road. From there, you can either walk approximately 2 kilometers along Panagama Road until you reach the sign for 'Hirigalketiya Waterfall' or hire a tuk-tuk for a small fare (around 200-300 LKR) to take you to the entrance. The waterfall is a short walk from the drop-off point.

Tuk-tuk
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Ratnapura to take you to Hirigalketiya Waterfall. This option provides a more comfortable and quicker journey. The fare should be approximately 800-1000 LKR from the town center. The driver will take you along Main Street to Panagama Road, and you will be dropped off right at the entrance where you can start your short trek to the waterfall.
