From the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, head southeast on the main road (Sigiriya – Habarana Road). Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with the Polonnaruwa Road. Continue straight along the Polonnaruwa Road for approximately 30 minutes. You will pass by local shops and see signs for Polonnaruwa. Once you reach the outskirts of Polonnaruwa, Kiri Vehera will be on your left.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Sigiriya. Start your journey by cycling southeast on Sigiriya – Habarana Road for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with Polonnaruwa Road. Turn left onto Polonnaruwa Road and continue cycling for about 5 kilometers. Kiri Vehera will be on your left-hand side. This route is relatively flat and offers a scenic view of the countryside.

Find a Tuk Tuk stand near your location in Sigiriya. Negotiate a fare with the driver for a ride to Kiri Vehera in Polonnaruwa. The journey should take around 30 minutes depending on traffic.
