Getting There

  • Walking

    From Sigiriya's main entrance, head north on the main road towards the village of Habarana. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the junction where the road to Matale splits off. Turn left at this junction and continue walking for about 500 meters until you reach the sign for Ududeniya. Follow the sign and keep walking for another 1.5 kilometers. You will see the Matale Herbal and Spice Garden located at No 12 Shop, Ududeniya on your right.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    From the Sigiriya bus station, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you directly to Matale Herbal and Spice Garden. Inform the driver to take you to No 12 Shop, Ududeniya. The journey should take around 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your ride.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Sigiriya. Start by heading north on the main road towards Habarana.
