Getting There

Walking
From the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, head southwest towards the Sigiriya Junction. Once you reach the junction, take the road leading to Dambulla. Walk approximately 2 km until you reach the A9 highway. Continue walking along the A9 highway until you see signs for Matale. After around 5 km, look for a sign indicating 'Nalanda Gedige.' Turn onto Gedige Rd, and walk down this road for about 1.5 km until you reach Nalanda Gedige.
