Once you reach the entrance of Polonnaruwa, continue straight until you find Bund Rd. Pothgul Viharaya will be located along this road on your left.

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Sigiriya and head towards the A1 road. Cycle southeast for about 10 kilometers. At the junction, veer onto the B2 road towards Polonnaruwa.
