Walking
If you are starting from the Polonnaruwa Ancient City, head south on the main road, passing the Polonnaruwa Museum on your left. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction at the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit to stay on the main road (A11). After about 500 meters, you will see a sign for දීප උයන Recreational Park on your right. Turn right at this sign and walk for another 200 meters until you see the entrance to the park.

Bicycle
From the Polonnaruwa Ancient City, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Start by heading south on the main road, passing the Polonnaruwa Museum on your left. Continue for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout onto the A11 road. Ride for about 500 meters, and you will see a sign indicating the entrance to දීප උයන Recreational Park on your right. Turn right at the sign and pedal for another 200 meters until you arrive at the park entrance.
