After about 20 km, take the exit towards the A18 road, continuing on this road for about 30 km. When you reach Embilipitiya, turn onto the B40 road. Follow the B40 for approximately 20 km, and then take a left onto Thanamalvila Rd (CRF8+7CX is your destination). The dam is well-signposted along the way. There is no entry fee to visit the dam.
