Car
If you are driving to the Udawalawe Safari Jeep location, navigate to P-61 1line, Udawalawa 70190. From the main entrance of Udawalawe National Park, head towards Udawalawa town. Follow the signs leading you to P-61 1line. The safari jeep pickup point is located along this street, and you can park nearby. Ensure to arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled safari to complete any necessary paperwork.
Public Transportation
To reach Udawalawe Safari Jeep using public transportation, take a bus from Colombo or another major city to Udawalawe. Buses frequently run from Colombo to Udawalawe and the journey takes approximately 4-5 hours. Once you arrive at the Udawalawe bus station, you can either take a tuk-tuk or walk to P-61 1line. The walk is about 1.5 kilometers and should take around 20-25 minutes. If you choose to take a tuk-tuk, the fare should be around 200-300 LKR, depending on your negotiation skills.
