Car
If you are driving from the center of Trincomalee, head southeast on Main Street (A6) towards the coast. Continue straight for approximately 5 kilometers. When you reach the intersection near the Trincomalee Harbour, turn left onto the road leading towards the beach area. Follow this road for another 3 kilometers until you reach the coordinates H6JV+RC. There are no tolls on this route, but please be aware of parking availability near the seaside.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From the Trincomalee bus station, take a local bus heading towards the beach area or the coastal route. Look for buses that indicate they are going to Nilaveli or Uppuveli, as they will pass near Jamaliya sea side. The bus fare is typically around 50 LKR. After approximately 30 minutes, ask the conductor to let you know when you reach the stop closest to H6JV+RC. After disembarking, walk towards the coast, which should be visible from the bus stop.
Tuk-Tuk
For a more direct route, consider hiring a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Trincomalee. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to go to Jamaliya sea side, located at H6JV+RC. The fare should range from 200 to 500 LKR depending on your starting point and negotiation with the driver. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
