Walking
Start at Trincomalee Bus Station, which is located near the city center. From the bus station, head east on Kandy Rd for about 1 km until you reach the junction with Hospital Rd. Turn left onto Hospital Rd and continue straight for another 500 meters. You will see a sign for Thummulla Rock on your right. Follow the path leading towards the rock, which is about 300 meters away from the main road.
Tuk Tuk
From the Trincomalee city center, hire a Tuk Tuk and ask the driver to take you to Thummulla Rock. Provide the location 'H67R+VWW, Trincomalee' for clarity. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the nearest point to the rock, after which you will need to walk about 300 meters to reach the rock itself.
Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Trincomalee. Start from the rental location and ride east on Kandy Rd for about 1 km.
