From the center of Trincomalee, head north on Kandy Road (also known as A12). Continue straight for about 2.5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. As you approach the 5th Mile Post, keep an eye out for Nugasewana Mawatha on your left. Turn left onto Nugasewana Mawatha and continue for about 200 meters. Trincomalee Beach will be on your right at 410/1, Nugasewana Mawatha.

Find a tuk-tuk stand near your current location or flag down a passing tuk-tuk. Tell the driver you want to go to Trincomalee Beach, located at 410/1, Nugasewana Mawatha, 5th Mile Post, Kandy Rd. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off on Nugasewana Mawatha, where you can walk to the beach.
