Walking
If you are starting from the Trincomalee city center, head east on Main Street (also known as Kandy Road). Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Hospital Road. Turn right onto Hospital Road and walk for another 500 meters until you see the Trincomalee General Hospital on your left. At this point, keep walking straight until you reach the end of Hospital Road, where it intersects with Bay Road. Turn left onto Bay Road and follow it along the coast for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see a sign for View Point on your right, leading up a small hill. Follow the path to reach the View Point.
Tuk-tuk
From any location in Trincomalee, you can easily hire a tuk-tuk. Just tell the driver 'View Point' or show them the address: H6CH+678, Trincomalee. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the base of the hill leading to the View Point. From there, it’s a short walk up the path to the viewpoint.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Trincomalee. Start your ride from the city center and head east on Main Street, then turn right onto Hospital Road as you would if walking. After reaching Bay Road, turn left and cycle along the coast for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for the sign indicating View Point on your right. There is a small incline to the viewpoint, so be prepared for a short uphill ride.
