Once you hit the main road, turn left and continue walking along the road for about 2 kilometers. You will pass by various shops and local eateries. Keep walking straight; you will eventually see the signs directing you towards Galle. Follow the signs until you reach the entrance of Galle Fort.

    If you're looking for a quicker option, you can catch a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Unawatuna. Simply wave down a tuk-tuk driver and tell them you want to go to Galle Fort. The drivers are familiar with the location and it should take about 15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting the ride.

    You can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Unawatuna. Once you have your bike, head towards the main road (Matara Road). Cycle south along the beach road until you reach the main road.
