Getting There

  • Walking

    From Unawatuna Beach, head northeast towards Unawatuna Main Road. As you walk along the beach, keep an eye out for the main access road. Once you reach Unawatuna Main Road, turn left and continue walking along the road. After approximately 500 meters, you will reach the intersection with Matara Road (A2). At this point, turn right onto Matara Road. Continue walking for about 200 meters, and you will see the Antiquated Dutch House at 213 Matara Rd on your left.

    If you prefer to take a tuk-tuk, you can easily find one near Unawatuna Beach. Inform the driver that you want to go to Antiquated Dutch House located at 213 Matara Rd. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off directly in front of the house.

    If you have rented a bicycle, start at Unawatuna Beach and head towards Unawatuna Main Road. Turn left onto Unawatuna Main Road and cycle straight for approximately 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Matara Road.
