Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. Take the A1 highway towards Kandy. After about 20 kilometers, take the exit for Biyagama (B62) towards Kelaniya. Continue on B62 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction for Labugama. Turn onto Labugama Division Road. Continue straight for about 8 kilometers, following the signs towards Dambora Waterfall. The waterfall is located at the coordinates 6.8554227, 80.1705227, with the exact address being V54C+566, Labugama Division Rd, Labugama. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Dambora Waterfall using public transport, start at the Colombo Fort bus station. Take a bus heading towards Kandy. After approximately an hour, get off at the Biyagama junction. From there, you can find a local bus or tuk-tuk that goes to Labugama. Make sure to inform the driver that you are heading to Labugama Division Road. Once you reach Labugama, you will need to walk about 1-2 kilometers along Labugama Division Road to reach the waterfall. Be mindful of the local fare, which usually costs around LKR 50-100 for the bus and LKR 200-500 for a tuk-tuk ride.
