If you're traveling by car, head towards Zanderij from your location in Sipaliwini District. The most common route is via the Suriname Highway (also known as the Zanderij Road). Once you reach Zanderij, look for signs directing you to Colakreek, which is located at FQ7C+965. The facility is about 30 minutes from Zanderij center, and there is ample parking available on site. Be sure to check the road conditions, as they may vary due to weather.
Public Transportation
To reach Colakreek via public transport, take a bus or a shared taxi heading towards Zanderij from your current location in Sipaliwini District. Once you arrive at the Zanderij bus terminal, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach Colakreek at FQ7C+965. The taxi fare from the bus terminal to Colakreek should be around 10-15 SRD. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
Walking
If you are already in Zanderij and prefer to walk, you can walk to Colakreek, which is approximately 3 kilometers from the Zanderij bus terminal. Follow the main road (Zanderij Road) until you see signs for Colakreek. It should take you about 30-40 minutes to walk there, so dress comfortably and stay hydrated.
