Car
If you are traveling by car from Varberg, take E6 towards Gothenburg. Exit at Kungsbacka and follow signs for Kungsbacka. Continue on road 158, then take road 41 towards Falkenberg. Follow the signs for Halland and continue to Skansen in Stockholm. Parking is available on-site at Skansen, but be aware that fees may apply.
Public Transportation
If using public transport, start from the Varberg train station. Take a train towards Gothenburg and transfer at Halmstad to catch a train going to Stockholm. Once you arrive at Stockholm Central Station, take the metro (T-bana) Line 14 towards the station 'Bergshamra' and get off at 'Djurgården' station. From there, it's a short walk (approximately 15 minutes) to Skansen. Make sure to check the latest schedules as train times may vary.
Bus
Alternatively, you can take a bus from Halmstad to Stockholm. Look for long-distance bus services such as Flixbus or Nettbuss. Once you arrive in Stockholm, follow the same metro directions as mentioned above to reach Skansen.
