Getting There

• Car

  To reach Fallmoranfallet by car, start from Östersund, the nearest major city. Get on E14 from Östersund and drive towards Vemdalen. The drive is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. Once you reach Vemdalen, follow signs towards Vemdalsskalet. Continue on the road until you see the sign for Fallmoranfallet. There is a small parking area available near the trailhead. Please note that parking may incur a small fee.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer to use public transportation, take a bus from Östersund to Vemdalen. Check the local bus schedules, as they may vary by season. Once you arrive at Vemdalen, you will need to either walk or take a taxi to the Fallmoranfallet trailhead, which is about 3 kilometers from the bus stop. Be prepared for a scenic walk through the beautiful landscapes of Jämtland.

• Walking

  If you're already in Vemdalen, you can reach Fallmoranfallet by walking from the village. Start at the Vemdalen village center and follow the signs towards Vemdalsskalet. The trail to Fallmoranfallet is well-marked and takes about 1 to 1.5 hours to hike, depending on your pace. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water, as the trail can be steep and challenging in some sections.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route from Vemdalen to Fallmoranfallet, consider taking a taxi. Taxis are available in Vemdalen and can take you directly to the trailhead. This option is more expensive, typically costing around 200-400 SEK, depending on the distance and time of day.
