Car
If you are driving from Östersund, take Route 87 north towards Strömsund. After approximately 90 kilometers, you will reach Strömsund. Once in Strömsund, follow the signs to the city center. From there, head east on Lövbergavägen. After about 2 kilometers, you will find Jämtälgen at Lövbergavägen 8B, 833 35 Strömsund. Make sure to have a GPS or a map app handy for precise navigation, as some roads may not be well marked.

Public Transportation - Bus
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Östersund to Strömsund. The buses are operated by Länstrafiken Jämtland, and you can check their schedule online. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Strömsund bus station, you can either walk to Jämtälgen (about 2 kilometers east on Lövbergavägen) or take a local taxi. A taxi from the bus station to Jämtälgen will cost around 100 SEK.

Another option is to take a train from Östersund to Undersåker, then switch to a bus heading to Strömsund. Check the Swedish Transport Administration's website for train schedules. Once you reach Strömsund, follow the same public transportation instructions above to reach Jämtälgen.
