    Getting There

    Walking

    Start your journey at Karlstad Central Station (Karlstad C). Exit the station and head southwest on Olof Palmes Gata. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Drottninggatan. Turn right onto Drottninggatan and walk until you reach the intersection with Storgatan. Turn left onto Storgatan. Follow Storgatan until you reach the bridge (Karlstadbron) over the river. Cross the bridge, and as you come down the other side, continue onto Västra Torggatan. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Mariebergsvägen. Follow this road until you see signs for Mariebergsviken. The area is a short walk from the road.

    Public Transport - Bus

    From Karlstad Central Station (Karlstad C), take bus number 5 towards 'Marieberg'. The bus stop is located just outside the station. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Mariebergsviken' stop. From the bus stop, walk a few minutes east to reach the waterfront area of Mariebergsviken.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Karlstad Central Station. Start your ride from the station, heading southwest on Olof Palmes Gata. Continue straight onto Drottninggatan, then Storgatan leading to Karlstadbron (the bridge). After crossing the bridge, go straight onto Västra Torggatan. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Mariebergsvägen. Follow this road until you reach Mariebergsviken. The ride should take approximately 20-25 minutes depending on your pace.
