If you are driving, head towards Strömstad, where Entrance Tjärnö / Saltö is located. From the center of Strömstad, take route 165 towards Tjärnö. Follow the signs for Kosterhavet National Park. The entrance is about 15 minutes from Strömstad, so keep an eye out for the signs that direct you to the entrance at Tjärnö, which is at coordinates 58.8738265, 11.1355475. Parking is available near the entrance.

To reach Entrance Tjärnö / Saltö using public transportation, take a bus from Strömstad to Tjärnö. Bus 101 runs regularly throughout the day. Check the local bus schedules for the latest times.
