From any location in Bohuslän, drive towards Strömstad. If you're coming from Gothenburg, take the E6 highway northbound. Exit at Strömstad (Exit 102) and follow the signs towards Tjärnö. Continue on Road 164, and follow it until you reach the ferry terminal for Tjärnö. There is a parking area where you can leave your car. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around 50 SEK per day.
