If you're traveling by car, start from any location in Närke and head towards E20 highway. Follow the signs for Örebro and then continue on E20 towards Stockholm. As you approach Stockholm, take the exit toward Norrmalm. Once you are in the city, follow the signs to Gamla Stan (Old Town). The Nobel Prize Museum is located at Stortorget 2, in the heart of Gamla Stan. There are parking options available nearby, but be aware that parking may incur costs, typically around 20-40 SEK per hour.
Public Transportation (Train)
For those using public transportation, take a train from any station in Närke towards Stockholm. Örebro train station is a common departure point. Trains run frequently and the journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arriving at Stockholm Central Station, exit and follow the signs for T-Centralen (subway station). From there, take the T21 (Blue Line) towards Kungsträdgården. Disembark at the Kungsträdgården station, which is a short 10-minute walk to the Nobel Prize Museum at Stortorget 2.
Public Transportation (Bus)
Alternatively, take a bus from your location in Närke to Stockholm. There are several bus companies that operate this route. The journey can take between 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive at the Stockholm Cityterminalen (bus terminal), you can either walk or take the subway. If walking, head towards the water and follow the signs to Gamla Stan (Old Town). It's about a 20-minute walk. If you prefer the subway, take the T-Centralen subway to Kungsträdgården and walk to Stortorget 2 from there.
